Reverse Responsibility (also called Responsibility Inversion)

A control mechanism in which responsibility for harm, misconduct, or systemic failure is redirected from those in positions of power to the individuals affected by it. Rather than addressing issues directly, authority figures reframe concerns as evidence of personal deficiency — such as insufficient awareness, unresolved trauma, resistance, ego, or lack of spiritual development. This preserves the authority of leadership while silencing dissent and obscuring accountability.
